Digital Age Teaching Certification Requirements

  • Attend and engage in three workshops. You will earn a digital badge for each session you complete.
  • Join Google+ eMINTS Educators community. (This is a Google + community that offers a great place to talk about education in a technology rich environment.)
  • Complete and submit culminating project using an artifact with a description of potential classroom application.  This may be an artifact created during the workshops.
Sessions will be facilitated in a manner that reflects the eMINTS Instructional Model and ISTE Standards for Teachers. This will incorporate learner-centered instruction, cooperative learning strategies, and higher level thinking. iPads and appropriate apps will be used to communicate, collaborate, create, and think critically about relevant transfer of these tools and strategies into classroom practice.
