1st Semester
Intro to the iPad and Visual Literacy - Join us to explore basic features of the iPad as well as how visual literacy can be used in the classroom. During this session, you will use some of the basic features of your iPad such as the camera and editing apps to create visual representations of learning. You will explore copyright and web resources for accessing copyright free images as well as ideas for engaging students through images. Develop an understanding of how visual literacy can help achieve state and national standards. (built in apps used: photo booth, photos, camera, keynote)
Multimedia - Make a movie with your iPad! During this session you will discover how to use the iPad and apps for developing multimedia movie projects that utilize text, images, and/or video to communicate a message. |

Personal Productivity - Life is becoming more accessible and reliant on technology in this digital age. This technology can help teachers increase their productive in many ways. In this session, discover ways to utilize apps to help you become efficient and organized in areas such as organization, note-taking, assessments, and resource collection..
SMART Boards - Almost every classroom is equipped with a SMART Board. Knowing the in's and out's of its use can prove to be a valuable as you develop meaningful learning experiences for students. This session will focus on the basic functions of the SMART Board as well as explore teacher-made interactive lessons and plan and create SMART Notebook™ lessons for the classroom. |
